A bit about Razakars:

The Razakars were a private militia formed by Qasim Razvi to support the then King Nizam Osman Ali Khan. The Razakars was formed to stop the integration of Hyderabad into Dominion of India. They were considered to be ruthless and were responsible for death of many people in Telangana and Marathwadi in 1800s. They were dethroned after Andhra Hindu Mahasabha was formed under the leadership Swami Ramananda Tirtha and founder of Razakar Qasim Razvi was jailed.

Mahesh Babu and Sukumar have worked previously on 1 Nenokkadine which was a hit project. Expectations on this yet untitled project are quite high since both, Mahesh and Sukumar, are the peak of their careers.
