'I need an answer,' says Taapsee Pannu after being dropped from Pati Patni Aur Woh remake

Taapsee Pannu, who had four releases last year, was all set to be a part of Pati Patni Aur Woh remake. But as the fate had it, the actress was dropped from the film at the last minute without intimation. Reacting to the same, the actress has now revealed that she was in a state of shock when she was informed about it. While interacting with Mumbai Mirror, the Mulk actress said that her work plans have gone for a toss as she wasn’t informed in advance. Had she known this a little earlier, Taapsee would have cleared her dates for some other project.

When the actress was asked if she was given a reason for it, she said that the director, Mudassar Aziz, wasn’t given a proper reason for it and was just asked to take someone else. Moving on, when Taapsee herself tried to confront the producers, they didn’t give her the clarity too, which she found a bit weird. The actress went on to say that she is disheartened and wants an answer from the makers too.

Despite all of this, the actress sent good wishes to the one who will be now stepping into her shoes. But, she learnt a lesson from this incident as well. And from now on, Taapsee will be careful while signing films before celebrating the good script as this incident has been an eye-opener for her.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Student Of The Year 2 actress Ananya Panday has stepped into the shoes of Taapsee Pannu and will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan, who is playing the role of Sanjeev Kumar in the film. For more updates, stay tuned to BL!
